Brand design
Logo and brand design in Dorset
Your logo is often the first thing a customer sees. We design identities that feel established from day one, for small businesses in Ferndown, Bournemouth, Poole and right across Dorset and Hampshire.
What you get
- A short brief. A few simple questions about your business, your customers and the competition.
- Three logo concepts. Each takes a different direction, with our honest recommendation and the reasoning behind it.
- Refinement. We develop your chosen direction into the final mark, with agreed rounds of changes.
- Colours and type. A palette and font pairing that work on screen and in print.
- Brand guidelines. A simple document showing how to use it all, so your brand stays consistent whoever is designing.
- Every file you need. Logo versions for web, social, print and signage, in all the usual formats.
Case study
McPhail Career Development: from tree to sapling

The original tree said “established”. The new sapling says “growth”, which is exactly what a career coach offers. A serif for McPhail brings trust, a clean sans keeps it modern, and the deep blue the business was known for stayed put.
The new logo perfectly captures the essence of our mission. It’s professional yet approachable, reflecting the personalised guidance we offer. I’m absolutely delighted with the rebrand!

Common questions
How long does a logo take?
Most logo projects take two to four weeks from brief to final files. A lot depends on how quickly feedback comes back, and we’ll agree a timeline before we start.
Can you refresh my existing logo rather than start again?
Yes. If people already recognise your brand, an evolution is often smarter than a rebrand. The McPhail project above is a good example.
Do I own the logo once it’s finished?
Yes. Once the project is paid for, the final logo and files are yours to use however you like.
Do you only work with businesses in Dorset?
We’re based in Ferndown and love working with local businesses across Dorset and Hampshire, but branding works just as well over video calls, so we work with clients further afield too.
