Logo design for Bournemouth businesses

Bournemouth is packed with independent businesses all competing for the same eyes. A logo that looks established from day one gives you a head start on the high street, on Google and on every flyer that lands on a doormat. We design them for small businesses across Bournemouth, from just up the road in Ferndown.

Logos from £150, with a fixed quote before anything starts.

Why your logo matters more in Bournemouth

Walk down Christchurch Road in Boscombe, Seamoor Road in Westbourne or Southbourne Grove and you’ll pass dozens of independents side by side. Customers decide in seconds which one looks worth trying. Online it’s the same story: your logo sits next to your competitors in Google Maps, on Instagram and in local Facebook groups.

A clear, confident logo won’t do the selling for you. What it does is stop you looking like the risky choice. That’s the job we design it to do.

What’s included in a logo project

01

A quick brief

We talk about your business, who you want to attract and who you’re up against locally.

02

Three different concepts

Three genuinely different directions, each with our honest view on which works best and why.

03

Agreed rounds of changes

Written into your quote, so you know exactly what’s covered.

04

Colours and fonts

A palette and type pairing that work on a shop sign, a van and a phone screen.

05

Simple brand guidelines

So your sign maker, printer or web designer gets it right first time.

06

Every file you’ll need

Versions for signage, print, your website, social profile pictures and your Google Business Profile.

SummerTyle Farm Flowers logo with a hand-drawn dahlia, shown in charcoal, on sage green, as a lilac flower icon and as a pink wordmark

Bournemouth client

SummerTyle Farm Flowers

Kirsty grows chemical-free, seasonal British flowers for calm, mindful homes, weddings and events. She needed a brand that felt as natural and handmade as the flowers themselves.

We drew a dahlia by hand for the mark and paired it with a relaxed, rustic wordmark and a soft palette of sage, lilac and dusty pink. The flower and the name each work on their own too, so the brand holds up anywhere from a social profile picture to a label on a bucket of blooms.

I completely flip-flopped my way through this project trying to figure out branding for my flower farm, but Andy was so patient throughout and never made me feel like a pain. I’m really happy with the final branding and logo, it feels completely “me”. Thank you again, you smashed it!

McPhail Career Development logo with a sapling symbol

McPhail Career Development

A refresh, not a restart. The old tree became a sapling to say “growth”, while the blue clients already knew stayed put.

A brand-new tech start-up. Logo, colour palette and guidelines built to work on a phone screen from launch day.

Artificial Aesthetica A-in-A monogram logo

Artificial Aesthetica

A custom A-inside-an-A monogram for a digital art brand, deliberately avoiding the usual robot and circuit clichés.

Andy took a brand-new idea and turned it into a brand that already feels established: a logo that works on a phone screen, a colour palette we can build the whole app around, and clear rules so it stays consistent as we grow.

Designed for where your logo will actually live

Before we sign off any logo, we test it in the places a Bournemouth business really uses it:

01 · Signage

Shop signs and A-boards

Readable from across the street, not just up close.

02 · Social

Profile pictures

A tiny circle on Instagram, Facebook and your Google Business Profile.

03 · Merch

Vans and workwear

Van livery, workwear and branded cups or bags.

04 · Print

Flyers

A5 flyers dropped through BH letterboxes.

If you need those next, we can help with that too: flyers, print and stationery, a website to match, and local SEO so Bournemouth customers can find you.

How it works

  1. Free chat. A quick call or video call about your business and what you need.
  2. Fixed quote. One clear price, with the rounds of changes written in.
  3. Concepts and refinement. Three directions, your feedback, then the final logo.
  4. Handover. Your files and guidelines, plus advice on what to update first.

Logo design in Bournemouth: common questions

How much does a logo cost for a small business in Bournemouth?

Logo design starts from £150. The final price depends on what you need, such as the number of concepts, rounds of changes and whether you want brand guidelines too. You’ll always get a fixed quote before anything starts, so there are no surprises.

Why not just use an AI logo generator?

They’re quick and cheap, and for some businesses that’s enough. The catch is that they produce generic marks other businesses can end up with too, often in file formats that fall apart on a sign or in print. A designed logo is built around your business and your competitors, and you get the files and guidelines to use it properly.

How long does it take?

Usually two to four weeks from brief to final files, depending on how quickly feedback comes back. We’ll agree a timeline before we start.

Do we need to meet in person?

No. Everything runs by phone, video call and email, which keeps things quick and easy to fit around your working day.

I already have a logo. Do I need a new one?

Not always. If customers already recognise you, a refresh is often the smarter move. Our guide does your business need a new logo? will help you decide.

Do I own the logo?

Yes. Once the project is paid for, the final logo and files are yours.
