Who we help: coaches and wellbeing

Branding for coaches, therapists and wellbeing businesses

When the service is you, your brand has a delicate job. It has to feel warm enough that people reach out, and credible enough that they trust you with something personal. We help coaches, therapists and practitioners in Dorset and Hampshire get that balance right.

Make the first step feel easy

Booking a first session with a coach or therapist takes a bit of nerve. People read your About page twice, look closely at your photo and try to picture what a session is like before they get in touch. Vague wording or a generic stock image makes that harder than it needs to be.

What helps is a calm, consistent look, a real photo of you, plain words about who you help and how, and a gentle first step like a free call. When your brand feels like you, the people who get in touch are the ones who’ll suit working with you.

What we’d usually do for a practitioner

  • A logo and palette that feel personal and professional at the same time
  • A website that explains your approach in plain words, with an easy way to book a first call
  • One look across your website, email address and social, which builds trust and helps Google too
  • Workbooks, handouts and slides for workshops and courses
  • A simple email newsletter to stay in touch between sessions

A coaching rebrand

McPhail Career Development needed a refresh that kept the blue clients already knew. We turned the old tree into a sapling, a simple sign of growth that suits a coaching business. See the project.

The new logo perfectly captures the essence of our mission. It’s professional yet approachable, reflecting the personalised guidance we offer. The sapling symbol is a brilliant representation of the growth journey we embark on with each client. I’m absolutely delighted with the rebrand!

Questions from coaches and therapists

Do I need photos of myself on my website?

For most practitioners, yes. People want to see who they’ll be talking to. A natural photo taken on a decent phone in good light works far better than a stock image.

I work online with clients anywhere. Does local matter?

Often more than you’d think. Plenty of people still search for someone nearby, even for online sessions, so it’s worth being findable locally as well.

My name is my business. Do I still need a logo?

A well-set name in the right typeface can be your logo. We’ll often recommend that, plus a simple mark for social profiles.
