Who we help: start-ups
Branding and websites for start-ups
You’ve got an idea, a name and probably a long list of things to pay for. We help new businesses look established from launch day, spend money only on what matters now, and build a brand that still works when you’ve grown.

What you need now, and what can wait
On day one you need a logo that works everywhere, a couple of brand colours, a professional email address and somewhere people can find you online. You probably don’t need a 30-page brand book or a ten-page website yet.
It’s tempting to grab a free AI logo and fix it later. The catch is that “later” means reprinting everything and confusing the customers you’ve already won. Getting the foundations right once is usually cheaper. Check your name is free to use and the domain is available before anything gets designed, too.
A typical launch package
- Logo, colours and fonts, tested on a phone screen, a sign and a business card
- Short brand guidelines so anyone you hire later keeps it consistent
- A launch website on WordPress or Shopify that you can grow page by page
- Social profile graphics and a Google Business Profile ready for opening day
- Business cards and launch flyers if you’re opening locally
Logos start from £150 and websites from £750, with a fixed quote first. See logo and brand design.
A start-up we branded
Casalog came to us as a brand-new tech idea. We designed the logo, colour palette and guidelines to work on a phone screen from launch day. See the Casalog project.
Working with Amped Up was fab. Andy took a brand-new idea and turned it into a brand that already feels established: a logo that works on a phone screen, a colour palette we can build the whole app around, and clear rules so it stays consistent as we grow. Quick, friendly and genuinely invested in getting it right.

Start-up questions
What should I sort first: logo or website?
Logo first. Everything else, including your website, is built around it.
Can you check my business name is free to use?
We’ll run the basic checks with you: Companies House, the domain and social handles. For trade mark advice you’d want a specialist, and we’ll tell you if we spot anything worth asking them about.
Can we start small and add more later?
Yes, and we’d usually recommend it. We’ll plan it so each piece builds on the last, rather than needing redoing.
